Bajaj India announced another facelift to the existing Pulsar 220 inorder to compete with the new Hero Honda Karizma ZMR and Yamaha R15.Bajaj introduced new pulsar 220 as the fastest Indian bike and has given a powerful 21 bhp engine which is best in its class.The bike is programmed to reach a speed of 144 kmph and inorder to achieve this speed,bajaj has optimized the transmission system.New Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i has given several smart design changes like "all black" colour different from the existing version. Also,the front fairing and the fairing mounted mirrors gives a unique shape to the bike.The open type chain cover,new alloy wheels,body panels,etc all adds to the beauty of the new pulsar 220.Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i is a true warrior in the upper segment and this competition again increases as Bajaj announced a very competitive price of 80,000(approx) on-road.The engine also got several changes and the most noticable one is the introduction of carburetor instead of fuel injection engine.The materials used inside the engine and the engine components also got a change inorder to increase the quality and performance.A temperature based ignition system is introduced to increase the starting efficiency.

BAJAJ LAUNCHED PULSAR 220 S

Bajaj recently launched Pulsar 220 street version.The engine and other specifications are same like the existing pulsar 220 F but the design has got little change.New Pulsar 220 S has no fairing in the front.Another important addiytion is the 3-D graphics and modified clip-on handle.No other changes are made in the design.

Another change is in the price of pulsar 220 S.New 220 is 3000 rupees less than 220 F.The bike has resemblence to the previous pulsar 200.Anyway pulsar 220 S is still the fastest Indian.
