Nissan started booking for the diesel variant  of their mid-size sedan Sunny in India.Nissan Sunny diesel will be available in two variants: Nissan XL and Nissan XV priced Rs. 7.98 Lakhs and Rs. 8.78 Lakhs respectively. Nissan Sunny is build at the Chennai plant and it is designed in Nissan's popular "V" platform.Nissan Sunny diesel comes with 1.5 Litre,4 cylinder K9K engine with a maximum power of  86 PS and delivers a mileage of 21 kmpl.

Maruti is planning to launch an entry level sports utility vehicle in the Indian market and a replacement of existing Maruti Jipsy.The new SUV will be called Maruti Jimny.The car will be equipped with 1.5 litre ,4 cylinder,multi jet diesel engine which has a capacity to produce a maximum power of 85 bhp at 3750 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm.It is a 4 seater vehicle with 3 doors.It has a fuel tank capacity of 40 litres.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny provides a mileage of an average 15 kmpl.The interiors are as beautiful as the exterior.it has a 3 spoke steering wheel and the central console is made up of good quality plastic.The instrument cluster has a descent look.The car comes with inbuilt music system,rear defogger,remote fuel lid opener,height adjustable driver seats,2 airbags,ABS and parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki India is planning to launch a new car in the hatch back segment to compete against the Hyundai's new arrival Eon.The name of the new car will be Maruti Cervo.The price of Maruti Cervo is expected to be between Rs.2.5 - 3.0 Lakhs. No official confirmation is available from the company officials about the launch date but can be expected by early 2012.Maruti Cervo will be powered by a 658 cc petrol engine with a maximum power of 54 bhp @ 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 64 Nm @ 3500 rpm.The expected fuel economy of Maruti Cervo is 21 kmpl.Lets wait for the launch.
